On November 20, the Northern and Eastern Packs of 5th Brooklyn’s Timberwolves will be visiting the Wolf Conservation Center and Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Westchester. We’ll see real live wolves and learn about efforts to conserve our namesakes.
This is a favorite trip of the Timberwolves and we are really looking forward to it. The Center has assured us they’ll be covering some new materials about Red and Mexican wolves. Note that this is a great opportunity for TWs to work on the Conservationist and Artist Special Proficiency badges and/or the 2nd star sketching requirement.
Costs: $14 adults, $11 for children under 12. Ward Pound Ridge is $10/car, payable at the gate. This includes access to the museum as well as the park and trails.
Car pools: Please sign up here if you need a ride or can offer a ride. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QIcaP1trQZ8Lw7c-9PV8MlhYSe8qsOqhRn8YTstiKPI/edit?usp=sharing
